Wrestling singlets anchor every wrestling order, but programs rarely buy them alone. A school or club team wants the competition singlet, the two-piece option for wrestlers who prefer it, compression layers for the practice room and a warm-up for the bleachers. We make the whole range on one brief and one color approval, so the singlet and the hoodie match instead of coming from two suppliers.

Prices are per unit in USD for the blank or color-blocked garment, Ex-Factory. Decoration (sublimation, print, embroidery and every other method) is quoted per design. Shipping is quoted separately: Express by Air, Cargo by Air or By Sea.

These are not stock blanks. Every style is made to order from 12 pieces, each colorway counts as its own style, and reorders carry no minimum. The prices on this page are for the blank garment; sublimation, embroidery and every other decoration is quoted per design. We send a proof for your approval before bulk production, which runs about 2 weeks after you sign it off.

What is a wrestling singlet, and how are ours built?

A wrestling singlet is a one-piece, sleeveless competition uniform that fits like a second skin from the shoulders to mid-thigh. It has to stay in place while two athletes pull on it from every angle, so fabric and seams matter more here than on any other team garment.

Our singlets are cut in 220–240 gsm poly-spandex with four-way stretch, specified for recovery: how fully the fabric springs back after it stretches. Poor recovery shows up as a bagging shoulder within weeks. Every seam is flatlocked so nothing ridges against the skin under body weight, leg openings are high-cut with a silicone gripper instead of elastic, and the straps are wide and set inward so they neither dig nor slide.

Designs are dye sublimated into the fiber, so the print stretches as far as the fabric does. Screen ink and pressed transfers sit on the surface and crack at the shoulder on a garment this stretchy, so we keep those methods for hoodies, tees and bags.

Two-piece wrestling uniforms: compression top and shorts

Many associations let a wrestler compete in a two-piece uniform instead of a singlet: a compression shirt worn over fitted shorts. We make both halves. The top is our short-sleeve compression shirt in 220 gsm poly-spandex (88% polyester, 12% elastane), with a long-sleeve version and a sleeveless compression tank for programs that allow them. The bottom is either the fight short, with a hook-and-loop fly and contrast side panels, or the tighter compression short.

Most codes require the team to look consistent, so we sublimate the two-piece from the same artwork and on the same order as the singlets. School, college and club codes differ, change over time and limit logo size and placement. Tell us which code your customer competes under and we lay out the proof to it before bulk.

Sizing wrestling singlets across weight classes

A wrestling roster is organized by weight, so one team can run from a light youth wrestler to a heavyweight senior. We grade youth, junior and senior on separate blocks rather than stretching one pattern across the range, and sizes can be mixed inside the 12 pieces of a style. For a first order with a new program, sample two or three sizes so your customer can check fit at both ends of the lineup before you send the size breakdown.

Wrestling team gear packages: singlet, warm-ups and bag

Most programs buy in a package: a custom sublimated singlet, a warm-up jacket and pants or a hoodie, practice shorts and a tank for the room, socks, and a bag for shoes and headgear. Building the package on one order keeps every piece on the same color approval, and one consignment ships it all.

Your buyers are school programs that replace singlets on a rotation, youth clubs outfitting a long list of weight classes at once, college programs with their own layout rules, and academies and tournament organizers who sell warm-ups, spats and bags to members. Many reorder a handful of pieces mid-season as new wrestlers join, which suits a no-minimum reorder.

Wrestling FAQ

What trade buyers ask about wrestling singlets

What do wrestlers wear under a wrestling singlet?

Most wear a compression brief or compression shorts for support. Our compression brief is cut short in the leg so it sits inside the singlet's high-cut opening, and a brief in the singlet's base color hides any edge that shows. Loose underwear bunches under a singlet and is the one thing to avoid.

How do you wash a wrestling singlet?

Turn it inside out, wash it cold on a gentle cycle and skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers. Hang it to dry, because high dryer heat weakens elastane and the silicone leg gripper. Washing after every session also keeps sweat and bacteria from building up in the fabric.

How much does a wholesale wrestling uniform cost?

Every wrestling style has its own five-tier blank price, from 12–50 pieces down to 501+, shown on its product page. Blank means the made-to-order garment without decoration. Sublimation, embroidery and printing are quoted per design, and shipping is quoted separately by Express by Air, Cargo by Air or By Sea.

Why are singlets sublimated and not screen printed?

A singlet stretches further in every direction than any other team garment. Sublimated ink sits inside the polyester fiber and moves with it, while screen ink and heat transfers sit on the surface and crack at the shoulder. We use those methods on hoodies, tees and bags instead.

Can I resell wrestling singlets under my own brand?

Yes. Your woven or printed neck label goes in the garment, your hang tags go on it, and each piece can be poly bagged with your barcode. The finished singlet carries no Empire Five branding, so your customer sees your brand only.
