Wrestling hoodies are the item every program orders, and the one parents buy from the club store more than anything else. Ours is a pullover with a contrast-lined hood and ribbed cuffs. Your customer picks the weight: 280 gsm French terry, 80% cotton and 20% polyester, for a lighter hoodie, or 380 gsm brushed fleece, 65% cotton and 35% polyester, for a heavy winter one.
French terry has a looped, unbrushed back and works in mild weather and warm gyms. Brushed fleece has a soft inner face and is what wrestlers want on a January bus ride. Both are made in team colors with the hood lining in the second color, and both suit embroidery, screen print and DTF.
Worth knowing: Neither hoodie fabric can be sublimated, because sublimation needs at least 80% polyester and both are cotton-rich.

Cotton-rich hoodie fabric takes embroidery, screen print and DTF. DTF prints from a digital file, which makes short runs with multi-color logos practical.

How it works
FAQ
French terry, 280 gsm, is lighter with a looped back and suits mild weather. Brushed fleece, 380 gsm, has a brushed inner face and is the heavyweight winter hoodie. Many club stores stock both.
Sublimation dye only bonds to polyester, and it needs at least 80% polyester to look right. Our hoodie fabrics are cotton-rich, so we embroider, screen print or DTF them instead.
Yes. Send a name list with the order and we add names by screen print, DTF or embroidery, usually across the back or down a sleeve. The list has to be final at proof approval, because names are applied before the hoodies are packed.
