Grading and tolerances

We build the pattern in a base size, then step it up and down your size run with set increments at each measurement point: chest, body length, sleeve, shoulder, waist, inseam and the rest. You get a spec sheet with every measurement and its tolerance, and the sample and the bulk are checked against it. Tolerances are agreed with you before cutting, so a jersey that comes in slightly off a point of measure is judged against a number you signed, not a guess.

How our athletic, regular and relaxed fits differ

Most buyers start from one of our blocks. Athletic is cut closer through the chest and sleeve for game jerseys; regular suits tees, polos and warm-ups; relaxed suits fanwear and hoodies. Women's and youth blocks follow their own proportions, and compression blocks are drafted smaller than body size so the stretch fabric holds against the skin. Our published jersey size chart shows the body measurements for each sport, and you can adjust any point on it.

Copy a fit you already sell

If your brand already has a measurement chart, send it and we grade to it. If you have a garment your customers like, send that instead: we measure it, build the pattern from it and grade it across your range, so new styles match the fit your customers already know. A tech pack template is the cleanest way to send points of measure, tolerances and size range in one file.

Roster sizing and size breakdowns

Send the size breakdown per style and colorway with your order. The 12-piece minimum applies per style, and mixing sizes inside a style does not change the price tier. Youth sizes through adult 5XL are standard, with larger sizes on request, and we can label sizes in US letters, EU and UK sizes or both. For a team order with names and numbers, send the roster with each player's size so every name and number lands on the right size.

Check the fit before bulk

For a new block or a size you have not run with us before, order one of our clothing samples in your base size first: 1 piece at the 12–50 price plus decoration, credited to bulk. Fit sizing is one stage of every custom uniform manufacturer order we run.

Worth knowing: each new fit block or extra size needs its own pattern work and a fit sample, so allow a few extra days on the first order.
