These are not stock blanks pulled off a shelf. Every blank hockey jersey on this page is cut and sewn after you order, in your colors, with the collar, stripes and fight strap your customer's league expects. That is why the minimum is 12 pieces per style rather than a case pack, and why each colorway counts as its own style. The price on each style is for the blank garment. Tackle twill, sublimation, embroidery and every other decoration is quoted per design.

Game sweaters and uniforms

Warm-ups and outerwear

Prices are per unit in USD for the blank or color-blocked garment, Ex-Factory. Decoration (sublimation, print, embroidery and every other method) is quoted per design. Shipping is quoted separately: Express by Air, Cargo by Air or By Sea.

Around the game sweater sits the rest of a program's order: hockey socks, practice and reversible jerseys, base layers, pant shells, hoodies, warm-up suits, parkas and equipment bags. Everything can ship blank to your decorators or arrive finished with your woven neck label, hang tags and barcoded poly bags. Reorders against a previous order number have no minimum and bill at the 12–50 price, which covers a mid-season call-up or a lost sweater.

Custom hockey jerseys for distributors and private-label brands

Most of our hockey volume is custom work for resellers: a distributor dressing a minor hockey association, a decorator finishing sweaters for local clubs, or a private-label brand building its own hockey line. Fabric, collar, stripe layout, crest position, fight strap, neck label and packing all follow your spec. Send a sketch or a tech pack and we send a proof for your approval before bulk production starts.

Game sweaters run 220–260 gsm air-knit polyester with a heavier shoulder yoke, because boards, sticks and gloves wear a sweater through at the shoulders first. The back hem drops lower than the front so the jersey stays over the pants for a whole shift. When a league requires a fight strap, we sew it into the back seam during assembly. A strap tacked to the lining tears out the first time it takes a load.

Knitting and dyeing come from partner mills. Cutting, sewing, decoration, labeling and packing happen in our own factory, and every order passes an AQL 2.5 final inspection before it ships.

Blank or decorated: tackle twill vs sublimated hockey jerseys

Plenty of buyers order blank hockey jerseys and decorate them locally, which lets you add crests, names and numbers per team without holding finished stock. Blank means the sweater is fully sewn, with the collar and stripes in your colors, and the crest and numbers left off.

If we decorate, the choice is usually between two methods. Tackle twill is the game-day standard: cut fabric numbers and crests stitched down with a zig-zag edge, raised to the touch and longer-lived than the sweater. Sublimated hockey jerseys carry the whole design dyed into the polyester, so there is no added weight, nothing stitched on top to snag and no limit on colors. We recommend twill for game sweaters and sublimation for practice sets, and we quote either method on either garment.

Most leagues want a number on the back and on both sleeves. Programs that reuse sweaters often ask for name bars sewn as separate panels, so a new player's name can replace the old one. Send the league equipment document with your brief and we build the sample to it.

What size hockey jersey should I buy? Youth, junior, senior and goalie cuts

Pads decide hockey fit, not a bare chest measurement. We grade youth, junior and senior on separate blocks, and goalies get a fourth pattern that is wider through the chest and arms and longer in the body, rather than a skater jersey sized up. Youth runs YXS to YXL and adult runs S to 3XL.

Do hockey jerseys run big? They should, because a sweater has to clear shoulder pads and elbow pads without binding. Numeric sizes such as 52 or 56 come from pro-cut jerseys and do not convert one to one between makers, so work from our size chart and the gear your customer's players wear. A size set ordered with your sample lets players try sweaters over their own pads before bulk.

Blank hockey jersey prices and what is quoted separately

Every style shows a blank price per piece in five tiers: 12–50, 51–100, 101–250, 251–500 and 501+. Quantity counts per style across all sizes, so 60 home sweaters in mixed youth and senior sizes price at the 51–100 tier. Decoration is never in that number. Twill crests, sublimation, patches and names are quoted per design once we see your artwork.

Shipping is quoted separately by Express by Air, Cargo by Air or By Sea, on EXW or FOB terms, and payment is by wire or letter of credit. Bulk production takes about two weeks after you approve the proof. One sample is available at the 12–50 price plus decoration, credited to your bulk order.

Ice hockey FAQ

What trade buyers ask about hockey jerseys

Why are hockey jerseys expensive?

A hockey jersey uses more fabric than most team tops, with a heavier knit, a reinforced shoulder yoke and a long drop tail. Tackle twill crests and numbers are cut and sewn on piece by piece, which adds labor a printed shirt does not carry, and a fight strap adds another assembly step. Sublimated practice jerseys skip the stitching, which is why they cost less.

Is it a hockey sweater or a hockey jersey?

Both names describe the same garment. Early hockey tops were knitted wool sweaters, and many players in Canada still call the game top a sweater, while most US buyers say jersey. Today it is a polyester knit either way, and we use both words on this site.

How do you wash a hockey jersey with twill numbers?

Turn it inside out, wash it cold on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry. High dryer heat can soften the adhesive behind the twill and pucker the numbers. Skip bleach and fabric softener, and the care label we sew in can carry the same instructions for your customer's players.

Can you supply captain C and A patches?

Yes. We make C and A letters in tackle twill or as embroidered patches, sewn onto the sweater or supplied loose so a program can move the letter when the captaincy changes. Embroidered patches are also sold on their own with a 12-piece minimum, so you can add letters to sweaters you supplied earlier.

Can I order blank hockey jerseys with no decoration at all?

Yes. We ship the sweater fully sewn in your colors with your neck label, and leave the crest, numbers and names off. That is the usual route for decorators who run their own twill or heat press, and the blank price on each style is for exactly that garment.
