A team skates four or five practices for every game, so we build hockey practice jerseys around replacement cost rather than tradition. The crest, stripes and numbers are sublimated straight into the polyester. That keeps the jersey lighter than a twill game sweater and leaves nothing stitched on top to snag on a stick blade or lift in the wash.
For your customer that means a practice set that still looks like the program, at a price they can reorder every season. Fit is sized over pads on youth, junior and senior blocks. Goalies come off a separate pattern with more room through the chest and arms, so mark them on the roster at the brief stage. If the program wants one set for both lines, the reversible version (IH-006) does that job.
Worth knowing: Sublimation only works on high-polyester fabric and the color is fixed at print, so a practice set cannot be re-dyed or shade-corrected later.

Sublimation suits a practice jersey because it adds no weight and has no limit on color count. Embroidery or twill can be added but raises cost on a garment that is meant to be replaced.

Yes. The crest is sublimated along with the stripes and numbers. It will not have the raised feel of a twill crest, but it will not peel or fray, and it costs less per piece.
Yes. Goalie practice jerseys are cut on their own pattern, wider through the chest and arms and longer in the body. List goalies on the roster and they are cut separately.
You can order them in solid team colors with no graphics. Since sublimation happens before the jersey is sewn, most decorators finish blanks with heat transfer or screen print.
