Most programs buy away hockey jerseys once the home set is approved, and the usual complaint at that point is that the second set fits differently. We avoid that by cutting the away sweater on the same pattern as the home jersey (IH-001), with the colors swapped. The 220–260 gsm air-knit body, the heavier shoulder yoke and the drop tail all carry across unchanged.
Your customer decides which color leads. A white body with team-color stripes is the common road look, but some leagues want the visitors in the dark sweater. Crest and numbers go on in tackle twill with a zig-zag edge, or the design can be sublimated for a lighter sweater. If the home set has a fight strap, the away set gets the same strap in the same back-seam position.
Worth knowing: White away bodies show rink grime and stick marks faster than dark sweaters, so suggest your customer budgets for earlier replacement.

Yes. It is cut from the same pattern and graded on the same youth, junior and senior blocks, so a player who wears a junior large at home wears a junior large away. Goalies get the goalie pattern in both sets.
It depends on the league. Some put the home team in dark and visitors in white, others reverse it, so check the rule before you fix colors. We make the away set either way and confirm the colors on the proof.
Yes. A sublimated away jersey has the crest, stripes and numbers dyed into the fabric, so it is lighter and has nothing stitched on top to snag. It reads flatter than twill on game day, which is why most programs keep twill on both sets, but we quote either.
Yes. Quote it against the home order number and we reuse the approved pattern, colors and artwork, so the two sets match even when they are made a season apart.
