Labels and documents by market
Apparel compliance and care labeling by market
Apparel compliance starts at the label. We make your goods ready for the market you sell in, draft the care and content labels, and give you the documents your broker and retailers ask for. As the importer, you hold the final certificates; we supply what they are built on, and your lab can verify it.

What we prepare and what your lab verifies
We draft the fiber content, care instructions and origin marking for each style from the actual fabric and trims, print your RN or CA number, and send the label artwork for your sign-off. Your lab, or the one your retailer names, verifies the finished goods: colorfastness, shrinkage, pilling, restricted substances or youth-product testing. Bulk is held until you release it.
Documents you receive
Commercial invoice with HS codes and fiber content, packing list, certificate of origin through the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and test reports from the lab you nominate when your market requires them.
League and governing body rules
Number sizes, colors and logo limits differ by governing body. Tell us the league and we check the artwork against its rules before production.
Where our certifications fit
Our factory certifications (ISO 9001:2015, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, WRAP, and an amfori BSCI audit) support your supplier file. They do not replace the market-specific tests your lab runs on your goods.
Worth knowing: performance claims such as UPF or anti-odor on a label or hang tag need a current test report. We only print claims you can back up.
Apparel labeling requirements, market by market
In the United States, a garment needs a permanent care label plus fiber content, country of origin and the identity of the seller, which most brands show as an RN number. Canada asks for fiber content in both English and French and a CA identification number, and most brands add care symbols too. In the European Union, fiber names must appear in the languages of the countries you sell in, and the UK has its own textile labeling rules for fiber content. Australia makes care labels mandatory, in words, symbols or both. The cards above list what we put on the label for each market.
For the detail behind each rule, read our care label requirements guide. To choose the label itself, woven, printed or tagless, see woven labels and packaging.
Youth products need extra care
Youth sizes carry the most rules. In the US, children's products need tracking labels and third-party testing through an accredited lab, and hood and neck drawcords are not used on children's upper garments. Tell us when a style is for youth sizes and we build the tracking label in and flag any drawcord before production.
Inspection before your goods leave
Every order gets a final inspection to AQL 2.5 (major 2.5, minor 4.0) before packing. Read how our garment inspection works, or send your own inspector before shipment.
