Hockey Socks overview

Hockey socks wear out and go missing faster than any other part of the uniform, so programs reorder them all season. These are footless game and practice socks that pull over the shin guards and are held up by a garter belt or sock tape. We have them knitted by our partner mills to your stripe pattern in your team colors, so they line up with the hem and sleeve stripes on the sweaters.

Two builds are available: a traditional knit sock with the stripes worked into the yarn, and a lighter performance sock that suits practice. Lengths follow the player from youth to senior, and we confirm the size range and yarn on your quote. Custom hockey socks are sold by the pair, 12 pairs per style on a new order, and reorders have no minimum, which suits a team that loses a pair at every tournament.

FAQ

Questions about Hockey Socks

Do the socks come with the sweaters?

They can. The hockey jersey and sock set (IH-003) pairs socks with the home sweater, bagged per player. This style is for programs that need socks on their own, as spares, for practice or to go with sweaters they already own.

How are hockey socks sized?

By length, so the sock covers the shin guard and reaches above the knee. Send shin guard sizes or player ages on the roster and we confirm the length for each size on the quote.

Knit or performance: which should I quote?

Knit socks are the traditional game sock, with the stripes worked into the yarn. The performance build is lighter and suits practice. Both are priced per order, so ask for both if your customer has not decided.

Can a team buy one replacement pair later?

Yes. Reorders against the original order number have no minimum, so a single lost pair can be replaced. We reuse the approved yarn colors and stripe layout so the new pair matches the rest of the team.
