It goes on over the singlet in the corner and comes off over the head in seconds when the bout is called, with no long zip to work. The short placket also opens for ventilation in a hot gym without the jacket flapping open.

FAQ

Questions about Quarter-Zip Wrestling Warm-Ups

Full zip or quarter zip for a wrestling team?

A full zip comes off over the headgear more easily; a quarter zip is lighter and cheaper. Many programs buy quarter zips for wrestlers and full zips for coaches, or the reverse.

Can coaches order the same top?

Yes. The quarter zip is graded on adult blocks, so coaches can be included in the same order as wrestlers, and youth sizes are available for club programs. Sizes can be mixed inside the 12-piece minimum for a new style.

Where does the chest logo sit on a quarter zip?

Usually on the left chest, set a little off the placket so the zipper pull does not catch the embroidery. A centered mark also works if it sits below the end of the zip. We show the placement on the proof before bulk production.
