Snap-Away Wrestling Pants overview

When the table calls a bout, a wrestler has seconds to strip down to the singlet. Snap away wrestling pants open down both sides with a row of snaps, so they come off over wrestling shoes in one pull, without unlacing anything. It is a small detail that coaches notice and ask for by name, which is why your customers will reorder this style.

We make the pants in team colors with the snaps set along the outer seam, and they match our warm-up jackets on the same color approval. A hip mark is the usual decoration. The pants ship blank for your decorator, or branded and packed under your label. Snaps are set evenly from hip to hem so the pant hangs straight when closed.

FAQ

Questions about Snap-Away Wrestling Pants

Do snaps hold during warm-up?

Yes. Closed snaps hold through jogging, stretching and drilling at the mat edge. They are set to release when pulled firmly from the side, which is how the pants come off in one motion when the table calls the bout.

Can I decorate along the leg?

A full leg print would cross the snap line and split when the pants open, so we keep printed decoration to the hip. If your customer wants color down the leg, a stripe can be cut and sewn into the pattern beside the snaps instead.

Are snap-away and tear-away pants the same thing?

Yes, buyers use both names for a pant that opens down the sides. Ours close with snaps along the outer seam, so they come off over shoes in one pull and snap shut again for the walk back to the bench.
