This two-button rugby jersey keeps the collar but drops the hoops. A single contrast band is sewn across the chest, carrying the second club color in one clean stripe, and the collar closes with a short two-button placket rather than a full button run. The band is cut and sewn as its own panel, so it holds its color at the shoulders and chest, the places players grip.
It suits first teams and school sides that want a traditional collar on a simpler body, and veterans' sides that like the look of a polo with a playing build behind it. The rugby knit and its weight are confirmed on your quote. Squads can be split between the tight match cut and the looser club cut in one order, and the band can sit higher or lower on the chest to clear the crest.
Worth knowing: A short placket is still a collar an opponent can grab, so for front-row forwards a crew neck gives less to hold.

The chest band builds the color design into the jersey. An embroidered crest sits above or on the band, and back numbers go on at your union's height. Sublimated sponsor panels need a polyester build, which we confirm with the quote.

FAQ
The collared rugby shirt (RG-001) runs a longer button placket and pairs it with hoops. The two-button collar is shorter and simpler at the neck and pairs with a single chest band. Both are long-sleeve playing jerseys with a reinforced collar facing.
A sponsor can sit on or just above the band if the competition allows it. Sponsor zones on the chest and sleeves are usually set by the union or league, so send the kit regulations and we lay the jersey out to them. On a sewn band the sponsor is embroidered or applied as a transfer.
Yes. The band can be split into two or three narrow stripes, each cut as its own panel. Send the sequence with PMS references and the proof shows the layout before bulk production.
