The v-neck rugby jersey gives match kit a more current face than a button collar or a crew, and it suits clubs refreshing their look without giving up a contact build. The point of any V is where a jersey splits when it is grabbed, so ours is backed with a reinforced facing. Color blocks are cut and sewn as panels rather than printed on top, so the design holds where players grip.
Fit comes in the tight match cut or the looser club cut, and one squad can be split across both. Back numbers run 1 to 15 for starters and 16 up for replacements unless your customer's union says otherwise. If the club wants shorts too, the v-neck rugby uniform set (RG-006) pairs this neckline with a match short in the same colors, bagged per player.
Worth knowing: The point of a V is the weakest spot on any neckline, so even with the facing it shows wear sooner than a tight crew neck in front-row play.

The panels carry the color, so decoration is usually an embroidered crest or patch on the chest and numbers on the back. A chest sponsor needs room below the V, which we plan on the proof. Each method is quoted per design.

FAQ
The V is reinforced with a facing, and the body is built like our other match jerseys. A crew neck still gives an opponent less to hold, so some clubs put forwards in crews and backs in the v-neck.
Below the point of the V, across the chest, which leaves less depth than on a crew neck. A large sponsor logo may need to sit lower or move to the back. Send the artwork and the competition's rules, and the proof shows the placement before bulk.
Yes. Send a sketch or tech pack with panel shapes and PMS references. Each block is cut as its own panel, so very small or tightly curved pieces may be simplified, and we confirm that on the proof.
