A rugby training top does a different job from the match jersey, so we build it differently. It is lighter than the 280 to 320 gsm match weight, and the design is sublimated into polyester instead of cut and sewn. That suits weekly drills, contact sessions and warm-ups through a long season, where a club wants players in matching kit without paying match-jersey prices for it.
Sublimation reproduces the club's hoops, crest and sponsors in full color, along with names and numbers so tops can be issued per player. Most clubs replace training tops every season or two, which makes this a steady reorder line for you. The blank price covers the garment; the sublimated design is quoted on top, per artwork.
Worth knowing: Sublimated hoops on a light training fabric show wear at grip points sooner than sewn panels on a match jersey, which is the trade for a lighter top that is cheap to replace.

Sublimation is the method here: the ink becomes part of the polyester, so nothing sits on the surface to crack or peel during contact drills. It is quoted per design on top of the blank price.

Weight and construction. The match jersey is 280 to 320 gsm with sewn hoops and taped seams. The training top is lighter and sublimated, made for drills rather than full matches.
Yes. Names and numbers are sublimated with the design, so drill tops can be issued per player and come back to the right person after the wash. Send a roster and we bag per player.
Send the same PMS references for both and we match the sublimated top to the sewn match jersey as closely as the two fabrics allow. Polyester and poly-cotton can sit slightly apart, so we confirm the colors on both with you before production.
