Football Sideline Jackets overview

This football sideline jacket is the light shell coaches wear on a breezy sideline and players pull on for away trips. It is a full-zip jacket in a lightweight woven fabric that blocks wind without the bulk of fleece, and it packs down into a bag. It works as the staff piece in a coaching package and as a travel layer for teams that wear matching gear on the road.

Most buyers decorate it with a left-chest logo and a large back mark. Because the shell is thin, we stabilize the fabric for embroidery and use a flexible ink or transfer for the back print. Pair it with the team sweatpant to sell a full travel set.

Questions about Football Sideline Jackets

Is the wind jacket waterproof?

No. It is a light wind-resistant shell for dry, breezy days and travel. If your customer needs rain protection, ask us about a heavier outerwear option and we quote it separately.

Can it have a hood?

The standard build is a full-zip shell with a collar. If your customer wants a hood, mention it at brief stage and we confirm whether we can add one before quoting.

How is embroidery done on thin fabric?

We use a stabilizing backing and keep stitch counts moderate so the shell does not pucker. Send the logo and we digitize it and send a stitch-out for approval. For a large back logo, screen print or heat transfer is usually the better choice on a shell.
