The racerback softball jersey is built for summer fastpitch. The top is cut away behind the shoulders, leaving the shoulder blades free through a windmill pitch or a full swing, and it pairs with a knicker that stops below the knee. Travel teams playing tournament weekends in the heat ask for this combination, which makes it a strong seasonal line among your fastpitch softball uniforms.
The knicker is graded as its own pattern, not a long pant cut down, and uses 240 gsm double-knit at the seat and knee because players still slide in it. Both pieces are cut on our women's block and bagged together per player. Add softball socks knitted in the same colors and the stripe below the knicker completes the look.
Worth knowing: The open back shows whatever is worn underneath, so check whether your customer's league sets color rules for visible base layers before you quote it.

Fully custom
Sublimation is the natural method for a racerback top, since it adds nothing to a light summer garment. Knickers usually carry a small hip mark or stay plain.

How it works
FAQ
They finish below the knee with an elastic or banded hem, chosen at the brief. Elastic gathers just under the knee, while a band gives a flat cuff. Both are graded as their own pattern on the women's block.
The style is priced as a set. If your customer only wants the top, ask when you request the quote and we price it as a separate line built to the same pattern.
It is mainly a fastpitch travel style, chosen by teams that play long summer weekends. Rec and slowpitch leagues usually prefer a crew-neck or V-neck top with shorts or a full-length pant, which covers more and suits a wider range of players.
