The button up softball jersey is still the game-day standard in fastpitch and slowpitch, and it is where a poor pattern shows first. Two full-button jerseys can look identical on a hanger and fit a roster very differently. Ours starts on a women's block, so the shoulder is narrower, the body rise shorter and the hip roomier than a baseball jersey sized down for a softball team.
The fabric is 140–160 gsm micro-polyester interlock with a full-length button placket. Most buyers take it as one of their blank softball jerseys and add a sublimated body with an embroidered chest script, a build that grades cleanly from the smallest youth size to the largest adult. Youth runs on its own pattern from YXS to YXL. Pair it with our softball pants or knickers, which share the same block.
Worth knowing: Buttons go on after the body is decorated, so decorators adding transfers in-house should keep artwork clear of the placket, where a heat press cannot sit flat.

Fully custom
A sublimated body with an embroidered or twill chest script is the usual build, since the polyester interlock takes dye fully and supports stitching. Your shop can also take them blank for in-house embroidery.

How it works
FAQ
A button front shows fit problems faster than a pullover, because the placket pulls open when the shoulder or chest is wrong. A resized men's jersey gets the chest right and the shoulder wrong, so the buttons gap when the player throws. Our women's block fits the shoulder and hip first, so the placket lies flat.
Yes. Our two-button softball jersey is cut on the same women's block, so a medium fits the same in both. Many programs wear the full-button as the home top and the two-button as an alternate, with one size chart covering both.
Yes, with limits. We align stripes and patterns at the placket so they meet when the jersey is buttoned, but the overlap and buttonholes interrupt the print slightly. Bold stripes and fades hide this better than fine detail or text across the center front.
