Coaching staffs reach for a quarter-zip because it looks sharper than a hoodie on the sideline and layers over a polo. This football quarter-zip is a long-sleeve pullover with a short front zip and a stand collar. Players use it as a warm layer for cold practices, and athletic departments often order it in a separate color for staff.
It usually carries a left-chest logo and a small sleeve or back-neck mark, which makes it a straightforward embroidery job for your shop. On a polyester body, sublimated sleeve panels add the team color without extra seams. It sits well next to polos as the staff item in a coaching package.
Worth knowing: Dense embroidery on a lightweight polyester quarter-zip can pucker, so we keep stitch counts moderate and use a backing.

Embroidery is the usual choice for coaches' quarter-zips because a stitched left-chest logo holds up to frequent washing. Sublimation works on a polyester body for sleeve color.

FAQ
Yes. Each color is its own style for the 12 piece minimum on a new order. Many programs run staff in one color and players in another. The logo file is shared, so both colors carry the same mark.
We grade a separate women's block on some tops with a narrower shoulder and extra room at the hip. Ask at brief stage and we confirm whether this style is available on it.
Yes. Coach names or titles on the sleeve or back of the neck are a common add, done by embroidery or heat transfer from a name list. Send the names with sizes so each top is personalized and packed for the right person.
