Baseball Quarter-Zips overview

Early spring baseball is cold, and the baseball quarter zip is the layer players and coaches reach for before the game and in the bullpen. It sits close enough to wear under a cage jacket and looks smart enough for staff on the bench. For your accounts it is a crossover piece: players wear it to warm up, and parents and coaches buy it as program apparel.

Long sleeves cover the arms, and the zip at the collar lets a player vent heat once loose without taking the layer off. Worth knowing: Dense embroidery on a lightweight knit can pucker, so we keep left-chest logos compact and use a stabilizer backing; very large stitched marks are better printed.

Questions about Baseball Quarter-Zips

Is the quarter-zip suitable for retail through a team store?

Yes. Add your hang tag and a barcoded poly bag and each piece arrives ready for a shelf or an online store order. It suits parents and staff as well as players, so one design can cover the whole program store.

Embroidery or print on a quarter-zip?

Embroidery for a small left-chest logo, where it looks sharp and lasts. For a larger back mark or a sleeve graphic, screen print or DTF keeps the fabric light. On a polyester build, sublimation can color whole panels.

Will it layer under a cage jacket?

Yes. It is cut close enough to wear under our short-sleeve cage jacket, which is how many pitchers and hitters use it on cold nights. If your customer plans to wear it over a game jersey instead, tell us at the brief and we confirm the fit on the sample.
