Night games in April are cold, and the dugout is the coldest place in the park. This dugout jacket is cut long enough to cover a player sitting on the bench, with a hood and a full-length zip so it goes on and off over a game uniform in seconds. Every roster player and every coach needs one, which makes it one of the higher-value lines in a baseball account.
The shell is chosen at the brief from our fabric library, with nylon taslan and quilted satin the usual picks for a dugout jacket. We make it in your customer's team colors with their mark, matched to the rest of the uniform order. It pairs with our short-sleeve cage jacket: the cage jacket for hitters who need their arms free, the dugout jacket for everyone waiting their turn.
Worth knowing: Large stitched back marks on a long jacket run to high stitch counts that stiffen the panel, so we recommend twill or print for anything wider than the shoulders.

A chest mark is usually embroidered, and a large back mark or player name works well as tackle twill or screen print. Heavy back embroidery adds weight and stiffness to a long jacket.

That is its purpose. The body is cut long so it covers a player sitting on the bench, not just standing. Exact length per size is confirmed on the sample, so your customer can check it on a player before the bulk order runs.
Yes. Send a roster and we add names or numbers per player, then bag each jacket to that player. Tackle twill or screen print suits back names on a long jacket and keeps the panel flexible.
Nylon taslan has a matte, soft face and is usually coated to repel water, which suits wet spring nights. Satin has the traditional shine and is often quilted for warmth. Both take embroidery and transfers; satin also suits chenille patches and tackle twill.
