Volleyball Spandex Shorts overview
Volleyball spandex is worn by every player on a women's roster, from setter to libero, so it is often the biggest line in a volleyball order. The complaint about cheap spandex shorts is always the same: they ride up. A player fixing her shorts between points is not watching the serve. Ours answer that with a wide, flat waistband that does not roll and a gusseted crotch that holds the short in place through a dig or a dive.
The fabric recovers its shape, so the fit stays the same from the first match to the last. Shorts are reinforced through the thigh and hip, where floor slides wear them through. Inseams run 2.5 to 5 inches and are chosen per player, and knee-length tights are a separate pattern for players who want more coverage.

Questions about Volleyball Spandex Shorts
Where is the volleyball spandex reinforced?
Through the thigh and hip, which is where knee slides and floor dives wear volleyball shorts out. The reinforcement is built into construction rather than relying on the base fabric to last a club season.
Can one roster order different inseams?
Yes. Put the inseam next to each player on the roster sheet, anywhere from 2.5 to 5 inches. Inseam is graded separately from the jersey, so nobody is forced into a length she will not wear.
Can the spandex shorts be sublimated to match our jerseys?
Yes. They print from the same artwork and color match as the jerseys. Order them with the jerseys or as part of the volleyball uniform set (VB-001), and the color holds across both pieces.
