Volleyball Competition Shorts overview

These custom volleyball shorts are our competition cut: a spandex short with one visible difference, a waistband in a contrast color. That band ties the short to the jersey trim and gives a club a sharper look on court without adding print across the leg. It is an easy step up to offer programs that already buy our standard spandex and want something different for tournament play.

Inseams are graded to the roster, so each player chooses a length from 2.5 to 5 inches. The body has a gusset and reinforcement through the thigh, and the stretch fabric recovers its shape after every match. Women's, men's and youth sizes come off separate patterns. Order the shorts with our match jerseys and both print from one artwork file.

FAQ

Questions about Volleyball Competition Shorts

How do these differ from the standard volleyball spandex?

The waistband. The competition short carries a contrast-color band, while the spandex short (VB-008) has a waistband in the body color. Choose this one when the jersey trim has a strong second color worth repeating at the waist.

Can the waistband carry a team name?

Tell us the wording on the brief and we show what fits on the proof before production. Short, bold text works best on a narrow band, since fine detail is lost when the waistband stretches.

Can we add the shorts to an existing jersey order later?

Yes. Give us the jersey order number and we match colors from the approved artwork. If the shorts are a new style for that customer, the first order needs 12 pieces.
