Softball Hoodies overview

Softball season starts in the cold and ends in the heat, and softball hoodies cover the cold half: early practices, chilly tournament mornings and long drives between fields. Players treat the hoodie as part of the kit, and families buy it in the program colors. Our pullover lines the hood in a contrast color, a small detail that makes it look like team gear before any logo goes on.

Ribbed cuffs and waistband hold the shape through repeated washing. We build these softball team hoodies in brushed fleece for warmth or French terry for a lighter layer, both cotton-rich and both strong bases for screen print and embroidery. Name the fabric and decoration at the brief, and the sample comes back as your customer will receive it.

Questions about Softball Hoodies

Fleece or French terry for softball programs?

Brushed fleece for programs in cold regions or with early-season schedules, French terry for mild climates or layering under a jacket. Both take screen print and embroidery well, so the choice comes down to warmth.

Can the hood lining be a second team color?

Yes. The lining color is set at the brief from your PMS reference, so the hood can carry the second color while the body carries the first. We match both on the sample.

Can players' numbers go on the sleeve?

Yes. A small number or initials on the sleeve is a common team detail, added by embroidery, twill or heat transfer from your roster. Keep the main design on the front, where the hood does not cover it.
