Goalkeeper Jerseys overview

A goalkeeper jersey has to look different from both teams and the referee, so it is the one piece where the colorway can't be an afterthought. Ours is cut on a separate pattern with long sleeves and a longer body, not an outfield shirt in another color. Padded elbow panels are optional, for keepers who land on artificial turf and hard winter pitches every session.

The crest and graphics are dye-sublimated, so the club identity carries into a bright keeper colorway at no added weight. Most clubs need only a few soccer goalkeeper jerseys per team, which is why distributors often stock two or three colorways and supply several clubs from them. Pair it with our padded goalkeeper shorts for a full keeper kit.

Questions about Goalkeeper Jerseys

How many goalkeeper jersey colorways should a club hold?

At least one that contrasts with the club's home and away kits and with common referee colors. Clubs facing many opponents often keep two. We can quote both colorways together so both designs are approved on the same proof round.

Are padded elbows worth it?

On artificial turf and hard winter pitches, most keepers want them. On grass in warm weather, the unpadded jersey is lighter and cooler. Tell us the split when you quote and we confirm how padded and unpadded pieces sit in your order.

Can the keeper jersey use the outfield artwork?

Yes. The crest, sponsor and pattern can come from the outfield file, recolored into the keeper palette, so only the colors change and the club identity stays. The keeper colorway shows on the proof before bulk production.
