These striped rugby shorts put the club colors at the waist instead of down the leg. A striped band runs around the waistband in your customer's colors, and the hem is cut in a curve rather than straight across, which gives a more modern line at the thigh. They suit clubs whose jerseys already carry a busy hooped body and want the short to stay calm.
Like our other rugby shorts, they are built without rigid trims or exposed fastenings. Your customers can order them with any match jersey in our range or on their own. Sizing runs adult S to 3XL with youth on its own pattern, and the stripe sequence is fixed at the brief, so settle the colors with the club before you order.
Worth knowing: Waistband stripe colors are fixed at the brief, so changing them later means a new style with its own 12-piece minimum rather than a reorder.

The stripes are part of the waistband build, so the short needs no print. A leg number or small crest can be added if the union asks for one.

How it works

Send the stripe sequence with PMS references and we confirm with you before production what the band can carry at your customer's sizes. A narrow youth waistband has less room than an adult 3XL, so very busy sequences may need simplifying.
It is mainly a style choice. The hem curves up toward the side seam, which gives a more modern line at the thigh than the straight hem of the classic short. Sizing follows the same adult and youth bottoms chart.
Yes. Use the hoop colors from the jersey for the stripe sequence and the short reads as part of the same kit. Send one set of PMS references for both garments and we confirm the match before production.
