Rugby compression shorts sit under the match short to support the thigh and hip through contact and to stop chafing over eighty minutes. We cut them close in a poly-spandex compression knit, polyester with 8 to 20% elastane depending on the build, which stretches four ways and recovers after washing instead of bagging out. The exact blend and weight are confirmed on your quote.
They are a natural add-on to every rugby kit order. Players need them, and clubs often leave them for individuals to buy elsewhere, so quoting them in the team color alongside the match short keeps that business with you. With your printed label, hang tag and barcoded poly bag, the same style works as a retail line for club shops.
Worth knowing: A compression short only supports if it fits close, so customers who size up for comfort lose the benefit; size by waist and hip from the chart.

Fully custom
A high-polyester build takes sublimation, so a waistband logo or leg mark prints into the fiber; stretch transfers work as well. Most clubs order them plain in the team color.

FAQ
Check your customer's union kit rules first. Many clubs simply match the compression short to the match short so it does not read as a separate color when it shows below the hem. Send the PMS reference and we match it.
Opacity is the thing to check on any compression knit. Pale colors such as white need a heavier build than navy or black, and we choose the weight on your quote with that in mind. Pull the sample to full stretch before your customer approves it.
Wash cool and skip high-heat drying, which shortens the life of any elastane fabric and is the usual reason compression shorts lose their grip. Add that line to the care label so it reaches the player.
