Football Skull Caps overview

Players wear a football skull cap under the helmet to manage sweat and keep the liner cleaner. Ours is a fitted cap in a stretch knit, made in your customer's team colors so it matches the uniform when the helmet comes off on the sideline. It is a small add-on that equipment managers buy for the whole roster, which makes it an easy line on a uniform order.

Skull caps are quoted per order rather than from a price table. Tell us the quantity, the colors and whether a logo is needed, and we price them with the rest of the package. A small logo at the back or side is the usual decoration, kept flat so it does not press into the head under the helmet.

Questions about Football Skull Caps

Is the skull cap one size?

It is a fitted stretch cap, and most programs order one adult size and one youth size. Tell us if your customer needs a larger fit for linemen. The stretch knit covers a range of head sizes, so a full size run is rarely needed.

Can I add a logo?

Yes, but keep it small and flat, at the back or side. A sublimated or thin transfer logo does not press into the head the way embroidery does under a helmet.

How are skull caps priced?

They are quoted per order. Send the quantity, colors and logo details and we price them, often as part of a larger uniform order. Reorders of a skull cap you have already made carry no minimum.
