Football programs run months of conditioning, camps and walkthroughs before anyone puts on pads, and these football practice shorts are what players wear for all of it. The loose athletic leg leaves room to sprint, squat and lift, and the drawcord waist lets one size cover a wider range of players, which simplifies size runs for youth organizations.
Choose the fabric first. A polyester short takes sublimation for side panels and numbers, while a cotton-rich short feels softer and suits a screen-printed leg logo. Football training shorts are one of the easiest add-ons to a summer camp order with team tees, and they reorder well when new players arrive.
Worth knowing: A cotton-rich short will not take sublimation, so pick the fabric before you pick the decoration.

Fully custom
On a polyester short, sublimation can carry side panels and a number with no added weight. Screen print or DTF suits a single leg logo, especially on cotton-rich fabric.

They follow our adult bottoms chart, which runs about 9 inches at S and M, 10 inches at L and XL, and 11 inches at 2XL and 3XL. If your customer wants a shorter or longer leg, give us the target inseam at brief stage.
Yes. A small sublimated or screen-printed number on the leg helps coaches track conditioning groups from across the field. Send the roster if each short needs its own number.
Polyester dries faster in summer heat and takes sublimation, so it suits camps and two-a-days. Cotton-rich fabric feels softer and works for shorts players will also wear casually. The decoration follows the fabric, so decide this first.
