V-Neck Baseball Jerseys overview

A v neck baseball jersey drops the placket altogether. There are no buttons to gape on a throw or pop off in the laundry, and the whole front is one panel for a script, a crest or a front number. Programs buy it as a modern game top or an alternate, and travel teams like it for sublimated designs that a placket would cut in half. The collar is cut and sewn in a contrast color.

The body is 140–160 gsm micro-polyester interlock, the same smooth knit as our button jerseys, so it takes embroidery, tackle twill and dye sublimation equally well. With no placket to construct, it is also a clean blank for a decorator who sublimates or presses in-house. Sizes follow our adult tops chart from S to 3XL, with youth graded on its own pattern.

Worth knowing: Sublimation cannot print white, because white is the bare fabric showing through. A white script on a dark V-neck has to be embroidered or tackle twill.

Questions about V-Neck Baseball Jerseys

Can the collar color differ from the body?

Yes, that is the standard build. The collar is cut and sewn in a contrast color you choose at the brief. Give us PMS references for the body and the collar and we match both on the sample before the bulk run starts.

Is the V-neck a good base for sublimated jerseys?

Yes, it is the easiest of our game tops to sublimate. The front is one uninterrupted panel and the interlock is polyester, so gradients, pinstripes and full-body art print without a break. Send the artwork and we send a proof for your approval before production.

Does a V-neck fit like a button-up jersey?

It is sized on the same adult tops chart, so the chest and body length targets match a button-up in the same size. The pullover neck sits closer at the collar, so players who like an open collar may prefer the two-button style.
