Basketball Warm Up Jackets overview

A team walks out in its basketball warm up jackets, wears them through the anthem and unzips them at the scorer's table. For a lot of programs the jacket is the most visible piece after the game jersey. This full-zip style is built to pair with our tear away pants (BB-015), and the two make the classic basketball warm ups suit in the team's colors and mark.

Players' names and numbers can go on the back or the chest, so the bench looks organized in photos and players can find their own jacket after the game. Ordered with the pants, colors are confirmed once for both, which keeps the suit consistent. Sold on its own, the same jacket also works as a sideline layer for coaches and staff.

Worth knowing: The zip runs through the center front, so a chest design has to sit on one side or be split across both panels.

FAQ

Questions about Basketball Warm Up Jackets

Is the jacket sold with the pants?

No, each is ordered as its own style. Most programs take both to make the full suit. The pants are BB-015, and both are colored from the same approved artwork, so the match holds whether you order them together or months apart as a reorder.

Can coaches order the same jacket?

Yes. Coaches' jackets can sit inside the same style order as the players' when the design is the same, so they count toward the 12-piece minimum. If the coaches want a different back print or no number, that becomes a separate style with its own minimum.

Where do names and numbers go on a warm-up jacket?

Across the upper back is the usual spot, with a number below the name or on one chest panel. A centered chest design is split by the zip, so it has to move to one side. Send the layout with the brief and we place it on the proof before production.
