Why track teams choose Empire Five

A track uniform should be close to invisible to the athlete. Nothing should flap at top speed, rub after the eighth lap, or hold sweat on a hot afternoon meet. Our racing singlets are featherweight performance polyester with mesh side panels and bound edges, and the racing shorts are 110 GSM micro-knit with a built-in brief liner and a side split for a full stride.

Everything is sublimated, so your school name, stripes, and colors are dyed into the fabric and move with it. There is no heavy print to crack or peel, and the singlet weighs no more than the fabric itself.

A singlet for every event

A sprinter, a 5K runner, and a shot putter need different tops, so we don't sell one singlet for all of them. The sprinter singlet is 160 GSM stretch polyester with elastane, cut close to the body. The distance singlet is a 130 GSM ultralight open knit with a looser cut and extra mesh for long races in the heat.

Throwers get a roomier 180 GSM singlet with reinforced shoulder and side seams for the spin and the release. Jumpers and field athletes who want more coverage can wear the cap-sleeve field event jersey. Men's, women's, and youth racing singlets round out the team, all in the same design.

Racing shorts, compression, and tights

Men's racing shorts have a 5-inch inseam, and women's are cut on a contoured pattern with a shorter race inseam. Split-leg shorts open the stride further, and distance shorts have a v-notch hem. All of them use 110 GSM micro-knit with a built-in brief liner.

Athletes who prefer compression can choose 7-inch compression shorts, three-quarter tights, or full-length tights in a four-way-stretch poly-spandex. Arm and calf sleeves come in the same team colors, and the calf sleeve uses graduated compression.

From middle school meets to college championships

We outfit track and cross country programs at every level. Middle school and youth clubs want a simple, tough singlet and short set that fits a wide range of ages. High school teams compete under NFHS and state association rules on uniforms, so tell us your state and we design to it.

College programs in the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA need event-specific singlets across a large roster, and running clubs want a club kit for road races and relays. Because we ship worldwide, we also supply clubs that compete under World Athletics rules.

Warm-ups for long meet days, and an honest note

Track meets are long, and athletes spend more time waiting than running. We make full-zip warm-up jackets, micro-fleece jackets, quarter-zips, hooded sweatshirts, a packable ripstop windbreaker, and coaches polos, plus caps, visors, headbands, and wristbands for meet day.

Two honest notes. Our rain jacket is a sealed, taped-seam shell, so we decorate it by heat transfer only, because embroidery would punch holes in the waterproof membrane. And our running gloves are a standard touch-screen glove build where we customize the color and logo, not the glove itself.

Fabric, fit, and care

Singlets range from a 130 GSM ultralight distance knit to a 180 GSM throws fabric, and racing shorts are 110 GSM with flatlock seams to prevent chafing. Sprint singlets and compression pieces are meant to fit close, so order your normal size for a race fit or one size up for a looser feel. Our size charts list measurements in inches.

Wash cold and inside out, hang to dry, and skip bleach and fabric softener, which clogs the fabric and slows sweat wicking. Don't iron over graphics. Sublimated color is part of the fiber, so it won't crack, flake, or peel.

Ordering from the factory

Your custom track and field uniforms are made in our own factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, and you order directly with no dealer markup. There is no minimum order, so a small club and a 100-athlete program both pay a fair per-piece rate on our six-tier scale, and shipping is free worldwide.

Send your colors, logo, and event mix, and a design mockup comes back within 12 hours, revised as often as you need. After approval, production takes about two weeks and shipping about one more. If the first meet is sooner, ask about rush production.

Is there a minimum order for custom track and field uniforms?
No. You can order a single singlet or outfit a whole team. Pricing runs on six volume tiers from 1 to 1,000-plus pieces, larger orders cost less per piece, and shipping is free worldwide.
Why do you make different singlets for sprinters, distance runners, and throwers?
Each event asks something different of the fabric. Sprint singlets are 160 GSM stretch polyester cut close to the body, distance singlets are a 130 GSM ultralight open knit for long hot races, and throws singlets are a roomier 180 GSM with reinforced seams. All of them share your team design, so the team still matches.
Do your racing shorts have a liner?
Yes. Men's, women's, split-leg, and distance racing shorts all have a built-in brief liner and a covered elastic waistband. Athletes who prefer compression can wear our compression running shorts or tights instead, or layer them underneath.
Can you embroider our logo on the rain jacket?
No, and that is on purpose. The rain jacket is a waterproof shell with taped seams, and embroidery would pierce the membrane and let water in. We heat-press your crest, team name, and initials onto the sealed face instead.
Do you make youth and women's track uniforms?
Yes. We make a youth racing singlet, a women's racerback racing singlet, and women's racing shorts cut on a contoured women's pattern. You can mix men's, women's, and youth sizes in one order at no extra cost.
How long does a custom track uniform order take?
Your mockup comes back within 12 hours, with unlimited revisions. After approval, production takes about two weeks and tracked shipping about one more, so most teams have their uniforms about three weeks after sign-off. Rush production is available.
